We now begin

Thinking of a topic for our term paper was the thing we’re busy of the past week. Thesis statement for our topic then was asked by our teacher and decide if she’ll accept each of our topic entry. After her acceptance, then that’s also the signal to begin looking for our references. But unfortunately, I haven’t presented a topic yet because I haven’t fully understood thesis statement. Aside from the term paper thing, professor talked for a while about fragments and run on sentences which she said would surely come out in our exam the Friday coming. At that time also she gave the final coverage for our exam. We have then taken the exam last Friday and it's not that difficult. But I’m not so sure with some of my answers mean not so sure with the result. The part IV of the exam I admit was quite tough for it is time consuming and really you need time to think making your essay.

ROTC

Begins at 6:00 in the morning and ends at 4:00 in the afternoon. That’s the life of an ROTC (Reserved Officers' Training Corps) student since second semester started. Leaving very early in the morning that sometimes you don’t remember if you've eaten properly or just never eat at all. Wearing battle dress attire like every Sunday we’re going into a war and with us is our heavy fake rifle. From top to bottom, dressed with an oversized long sleeve fatigue like I’m almost rapped into it with matching large pants and heavy black boots that every time I faced a mirror, I look like an old fashion hip hop dancer. We fall in line within our company executing every command the officer says. Every time you’re on training better stick with the rules or experience lying in the center of the hot cemented pathway of IIT. Marching, jogging, raising rifles in every direction, facing right, facing left, facing back, facing everywhere like we’re just keep on repeating these things the whole day until we get bored and exhausted. Under the heat of the sun or fall of the rain, we still keep on going until one by one some of us slowly fainted. And by the end of the day we go home with our face very ugly like we’re regretting what we’ve done the whole day. And when you go to bed, you would probably go to sleep immediately and wake up just the next morning. They said ROTC is discipline. But it's just a waste of time if I were to say. Still, it is required and I can do nothing but have it.

My late concept mapping

TOPIC: Effects of being late always

THESIS STATEMENT:

I know I'm too late again for this and definitely gain no points at all but professor Lynnie posted in her blog that we should do all the blog tasks and so, I just did what I haven't done. I'm not so sure too if this is the correct concept mapping.

Trying to be new

Happy New Year…! I know I’m too late for this. Still, my shout outs to all my friends out there, Happy New Year! A new year for a new beginning but looks like nothing’s new about me. As usual, late again for this blogging project but at least I did post something. What happened on January 5,2010 was just the same with the past few meetings of 2009 like, we have class that talks of course about writing, my teacher haven’t found yet my blog( it’s my fault anyway), and we are still forced to speak English but when professor leaves us for a while, we raced talking using our vernacular. It’s just the same right? Wait… I was mistaken! There’s something new! Now I remember! We have a new blogging task and we are about to make a term paper. Yes! Sounds like a big trouble! I mean sounds…interesting. Also I thought the English 2 prelim exam would be by the first week of 2010 but professor moved it for next week and really I’m very thankful for at least I can scan my book and won’t be ashamed leaving a blank paper and answered at least something. By the way, I WOULD LIKE TO CONGRATULATE TEACHER LYNNIE AND THE REST OF HER GROUP FOR BEATING ALL THE PARTICIPANTS IN THE DANCE CONTEST held on their Christmas party. I’m not pretty much sure if that was a Christmas party but anyways, professor, CONGRATULATIONS…! Hope you’ll meet with my blog this time around.
